There doesn't seem to be oneįrom what I have read, the DWL files have to be in the origin folder of the DWG that is opened and all work files are stored in Google Drive. I have been looking to see if there is an option to set DWL files to be created locally on my machine rather than in the Google Drive where all work is stored. It contains information about the user who opened the file, the full path to the file, computer name, and the time (and date) when the file was opened. However doing the same in AutoCAD 2016 is really slow, like you mentioned the content is shown quite fast, but then AutoCAD seems to be thinking and thinking and. I've read around the forums and found what I think is the answer, unfortunately it's not the one I wanted and I would like to confirm this and see if anyone has any ideas. A DWL file is a temporary lock file generated when a computer user opens a drawing ( DWG file) in AutoCAD. When I open your drawing with AutoCAD 2018 everything is working well, also loading the drawing at normal speed.
